Basic Pond Treatments: This treatment will treat any weeds or algae at the waters surface and below. Nature's Blue Pond Dye is also added during treatment to help prevent the future growth of weeds and algae. This treatment does not include Cattails or any emerged weeds. A separate treatment is needed for these kinds of weeds (see Cattail Treatments Below). Consultations Available! Basic Pond Treatments have a 30 Day Guarantee: If your weeds or algae do not die off or they come back within 30 days, we will come back and retreat your pond free of charge. Emergent Treatments (Cattails, Grasses, Etc.): This treatment will treat cattails as well as emerged weeds. If you are currently getting a Regular Treatment for weeds and algae and also need one for cattails, let us know about it ahead of time. This way one of our specialists can quote your cattail treatment while they are out there treating your weeds and algae. Doing this will make this service more efficient as well as save you some cash. This service is not a guarantee and depending on the thickness of the cattails, more than one treatment may be necessary. Consultations Available! Pond Rakings: Removal of dead and/or dying vegetation along the ponds perimeter. This also includes the cutting and removal of cattails and other emergent weeds. Offsite debris removal available! Consists of monthly chemical applications and/or bi-weekly chemical and bacteria applications. Nature's Blue Pond Dye is included with each application. Prior to calling you will need to gather some information to allow us to correctly figure a quote. Please gather the following: 1. Measure the Length and Width of your waterway. If you do not have an exact figure you may pace off your pond by figuring every stride to be approx. 3 feet. 2. Check for any inlets or outlets. 3. Determine the last time your waterway was treated (if ever). 4. Age of your waterway. Most ponds require three or four applications per year (as recommended by the State of Michigan Water Bureau). Ponds may vary do to existing pond conditions such as organic buildup, excess fertilizer, etc. (this is when Pond-Clear is helpful). We may discuss a program that will work best for your waterways needs.

If you are located anywhere else please contact us, so we can direct you to another applicator in your area. Treatments begin as early as April and continue through September. Although, it is best to contact us prior to April so we can schedule your waterway for a treatment. Some waterways require a permit issued by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).
