Pond Raking
The benefits of raking are as follows:
* Instantly removes organics that contribute to 'muck'
* Lowers your nutrient load, reducing future weeds and algae growth.
* Reduces the 'muck' and allows for more enjoyable recreational
activities
* Increases overall health of the ecosystem.
Steps to take for proper raking:
1. Treat the existing pond for algae/chara or other aquatic weeds.
2. Wait approixmately 2 weeks for the aquatic weeds and algae to die off.
3. Rake the entire pond
4. Start and/or continue using the 4-steps of the Airmax® Ecosystem
to prevent future growth.
Cattail Removal
Steps to take for proper removal:
1. Treat the existing cattails and/or emergent weeds.
2. Wait approixmately 2 weeks for cattails to die off.
3. Remove cattails and/or emergent weeds.
4. Start and/or continue using the 4-steps of the Airmax® Ecosystem
to prevent future growth.
