Accu-Clear

Removes the haze and eliminates floating particles. Works by clumping tiny particles together so they settle to the bottom and can be removed by your filer.

Maintains crystal-clear pond water. Quickly clears cloudy pond water. Helps filters function more efficiently. Works by causing tiny suspended cloud particles in pond water to clump together. The clusters quickly fall to the bottom.

What is Accu-Clear?
Unique colorless polymer that rapidly eliminates cloudy pond water caused by dirt, silt, and particles, working by causing tiny suspended particles in pond water to clump together forming microscopic clusters

Will Accu-Clear color my pond water?
No. Accu-Clear will not color the water.

Can Accu-Clear be used in water gardens containing pond plants?
Yes. Accu-Clear will not harm submerged or floating plants

After I added Accu-Clear my water cleared up but the flow rate on my filter slowed down. Why?
Accu-Clear causes fine particles to clump together into larger heavier particles. These particles are more easily trapped by pond filters. As the filter collects the debris it may become clogged. This will result in a reduced flow rate out of the filter. Rinse or replace the filter media to restore proper filter flow.

I don't have a pond filter in my pond. I have a submersible pump and a fountain. Will Accu-Clear work?
Yes. The prefilter on your pump will collect some of the settled debris and will require periodic cleaning. When the flow rate decreases clean the prefilter.

Does Accu-Clear reduce the oxygen level in ponds?
No. If an algae bloom suddenly dies or is trapped in the pond filter, however, a sudden drop in the oxygen level can occur. The decomposing algae will consume some of the oxygen in the pond. In very warm weather water holds very little oxygen. It is important to maximize aeration in the warmer seasons to prevent oxygen depletion and fish loss.

Can I add a double dose of Accu-Clear to make my water clear faster?
No. Adding more than the recommended dose will not improve the performance of Accu-Clear.

This item ships via UPS Ground
Directions for Use:
Mix the desired dose with one gallon of pond water and distribute evenly around the perimeter of the pond.

Add 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) for every 50 U.S. gallons (190 L) of pond water. Water will clear within several hours.

If a second dose is necessary, wait 24 hours before applying. Filter pads should be rinsed frequently when clearing pond water.

Accu-Clear can be used once a week to keep filters performing at maximum efficiency.

Accu-Clear can be used in ponds and water gardens containing koi, goldfish, and aquatic plants. Overdosing with Accu-Clear causes the product to work more slowly. Compatibility:
Before using Accu-Clear, make certain that the pond has vigorous aeration, (a fountain, waterfall or aeration device) especially during hot summer months. In summer heat, pond water contains very little oxygen.

In sunlight, algae and submerged plants produce oxygen, and in some cases may be the major source of oxygen in the pond. At night, however, submerged plants and algae actually consume oxygen. Decomposing organic matter also consumes oxygen, even after it is removed by the filter. Until the filter is changed, decomposing organic matter may still cause the oxygen level to drop to harmful levels if adequate aeration is not provided.

Therefore, when using Accu-Clear, especially during the warm summer months, adequate aeration is required to keep oxygen levels healthy for your fish. Do not shut off pond pumps or aeration devices at night! Aeration must be provided to pond life at all times.
