I used Muckaway on a mucky beach area of my pond. Within a few short weeks, the beach area was much cleaner. I highly recommend it.

I live on a large lake and have been trying to clean up our mucky shoreline so the kids have a place to swim. I purchased Muckaway last year for the first time and have been very happy with the results. I am now back to purchase another pail for this season!

I have gone through just last year 2 Muckaway buckets (each around $140.00) of bacteria for a 1/4 acre pond about 12 feet deep. I have two diffusion aerators (only one was recommended) and a fountain. I am disappointed with the water quality. Still looks green with a lot of muck along the shores

The product worked fine on my shallow shoreline where the muck was only and inch or two deep. Anything deeper than a couple inches and it had no effect whatsoever. ***Response from The Pond Guy*** Keep in mind the amount of muck accumulation in the pond. Muck Away may be removing muck however the deeper the muck the longer it will take to remove and show noticable results.

I can see my sand again. I apply it every two weeks and can actually see the difference each time i add it. I also got a great tip from one of the pond Ladies at The Pond Guy. She told me to use my rake to work up the bottom of my pond and it would work even faster, she was right!

We have a three acre pond with an area that manages to collect all the muck and algae. We have tried the MuckAway and the Pond Clear. But, there is still a daily accumulation. Because of the expence, we have only been putting one bucket full per three to four weeks. Is there a less expensive answer to this problem?

Unfortunately I did not have enough time to really see a difference in our pond. I purchased a box that gave me enough for two shots. I do see a slight bit of a clearing but now the weather is getting colder and it would not be worth the purchase of another box till Spring arrives. I will plan on trying it then Have a great Winter to all!

We have found that the combination of the Muck Away, Pond Clear and the Black and Blue Dye work the best for our three acre lake. We have discovered that we need to be on time with all of these products in order to have good control in keeping the pond clean. The formula we use every two weeks is four black dye, four blue dye and one bucket each of MuckAway and Pond Clear. Needless to say it is a very costly formula, but works good. We also have four Airmax Aeration systems placed in throughtout the lake. One more item that we decided to bite the bullet was a jet ski. Another way to keep the water moving.

We began using muck away 5 months ago. We had quite a build up of muck on the bottom of the pond. We have had to apply it several times but it is getting the job done. I am getting ready to order more.

We purchased a large container of MuckAway about three years ago to treat our shoreline at our cottage in northern Michigan, which was not maintained for decades by the previous owners. Our kids would not even go into the lake because they would sink 5"+ in muck and weeds. We wondered if we would ever enjoy a sandy shoreline! The MuckAway pellets and the pond rake have worked wonders. The water is clear and you can see the sandy bottom of the lake near our shoreline, as well as tons of little fish swimming around. The kids love swimming in the lake now and fishing from the shore. I've also notice other boaters casting their fishing lines near our shore as well. Each year we work our way out a little further from the shore with the rake and MuckAway pellets. The product has worked great. We now have about 8-10' of sand along our shoreline. We just finished our bucket of MuckAway that we purchased about three years ago will be purchasing another bucket.

Over two years, I've used one BIG bucket of Muck Away in a 3-acre pond -- it's been amazing. I'm getting another BIG bucket to start again this fall. We love this Muck Away product, but know that you may see some scum on top of the pond when it's "working." Don't be alarmed -- it's working !!
