The ultra fine 1/8" mesh on our Fine Mesh Filter Media Bag is ideal for small filter media like carbon or barley pellets while the 1/4" mesh on the Standard and Large Filter Media Bags can handle heavy duty applications of large media types. Each Filter Media Bag is made of long lasting black nylon mesh and utilizes a black draw string and clamp to keep filter media secure.

I just started using one of these. It will hold about 4 boxes of BioBalls. What is great is that the loose balls no longer clog up the discharge pipe and it is easy to lift the bag out and clean the balls. The only knock I have is the drawstring could be a bit longer so you can wrap it more easily around the neck of the closed bag and tie a security knot. Minor problem to say the least! |

These work just great, it is so much easier when you have over 100 red filter bricks that you have to get out, when they are in this bag. You tend to clean out your filter more often, when it is easier. I will never be without them again. A must have for big filters. |
