To effectively treat weeds and algae, two things must happen:
1st - The water tension has to be broken down to allow the chemical to penetrate the water in the appropriate spot.
2nd - The cuticle of the weed has to be penetrated for the chemical to be absorbed.
Application of Kraken:
For emergent weeds:
3.8 oz Kraken, 4 oz Cide Kick, with 2 gallons water. Mix in tank sprayer. Spray to completely wet leaf surface.
For submerged weeds:
1.5 qts of Kraken, 3 oz Cide-Kick treats 5,000 sq ft. Mix in a tank sprayer. Apply as a concentrate or dilute with water. Spray on water's surface where submerged weeds are growing.

Application of Cide-Kick:
For emergent weeds: Mix 1.5 ounces of Cide-Kick for every 3 quarts of chemical mixture you are using.
For submerged weeds: Mix 2 ounces of Cide-Kick for every 1.5 gallons of chemical mixture you are using.

Restrictions of Kraken:
120 day irrigation restriction.
Kraken carries no restrictions on recreational use such as swimming and fishing, or on livestock consumption of water from the treatment area.
