Sensitive Plant - Floating Plant

The Sensitive plant is a creeping annual or perennial herb often grown for its curiosity value: the compound leaves fold inward and droop when touched, re-opening within minutes. This uniqute plant produces small, globular, mauve flower puffs. As a floating plant, it is perfect for fish shade and soaking up excess nutrients in the pond.

Floating aquatic plants can be a very effective way of adding filtration and surface coverage to a water garden. Since the free floating plants, have no roots anchored in soil they draw 100% of their nutrients directly from the water, feeding on nutrients that would otherwise feed algae.Simply place these plants around your pond or in the bio-filter.
