Arrowhead is named for the shape of it's leaves. The showy white flowers are borne on tall leafless stalks, usually in whorls of three. Flowers have three short broad petals attached by a narrow strip or "claw" of tissue to a center of many thread-like yellow parts. Delicate, white flowers bloom in the summer. It grows 2' to 3' and is suited for any water garden, however it can be invasive.
