Spider Lily - Tropical Bog

This great US native that was only discovered in 1951, calls the ditches and swamps from East Texas across to Alabama "home." The 20" tall flower stalks emerge in mid-spring, topped with a cluster of 4-7 fragrant, white flowers, highlighted by bright yellow throats. This is a very easy-to-grow garden plant in slightly moist soils, and can easily be wintered over as a house plant.
