Our Custom-Sized Large Pond PVC Liner is different than most other liners out on the market today; this is because it can be easily glued together in the field, resulting in a factory-like seam, and is also the only liner that can be repaired by patching underwater!

When to use:
PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) is one of the most commonly specified lining materials in the large (farm type) pond industry today. Manufactured by a calendaring, or extrusion process, our Custom-Sized Large Pond PVC Liner is a highly flexible, non-reinforced, cost-effective, waterproofing geomembrane with many uses and advantages for any customer.
The Custom-Sized Large Pond PVC Liner has extremely high puncture strength, excellent abrasion resistance, and is also resistant to a number of industrial chemicals. Also, because of its high flexibility, PVC liners readily conform to the ponds sub-grade contours and offer excellent resistance to ground slippage without having to be textured.
The use of a Custom-Sized Large Pond PVC Liner can also prevent contaminants from entering groundwater sources or streams, and in addition, conserves potable water resources by preventing seepage loss.

Liner Manufacturing:
Custom factory fabrication eliminates much, if not all field seaming, as the Custom-Sized Large Pond PVC Liner can be fabricated into panels up to 40,000 square feet in the climate controlled suppliers manufacturing plant, and then shipped directly to your site for easy installation.
Using pre-fabricated panels makes it possible for your crew to install potentially acres of lining per day and reduce your overall construction time. For additional cost, we can always request custom fabricated panels to fit site-specific dimensions and requirements of any customer.
Precautions & Restrictions:
Since PVC is degraded by sunlight; it requires being covered with a minimum of 12" (1 foot) of clean fill to function as it is designed. In prolonged exposure to sunlight, PVC must be covered before warranted for lifespan. In buried applications, PVC can provide a service life of over 20 years.
Slopes of the pond should be limited to 3:1, and cover soils should be walked in from the bottom of the pond to the top, always keeping a minimum of 12" of clean soil between your equipment and the membrane.

Last year we worked closely with the Pond guy to create our piece of heaven in the back yard. We ordered an extra large pond liner custom. I was extremely surprised at the strength of this liner. We put it to the test and could not tear this liner. It works great and we do not have any weeds growing through! Highly recommended. |
