When To Use Aeration
Airmax® PondSeries™ Aeration Systems will provide continuous circulation and aeration which combats problems with algae, weeds, odors and muck accumulation. By aerating your pond from the bottom up, you'll circulate incredible amounts of water, drastically increasing the dissolved oxygen levels in your water column. In turn, this allows for increased levels of beneficial bacteria to accumulate in your pond. Airmax® PondSeries™ Aeration Systems are ideal for ponds or large lakes up to 21' deep.
How To Use Aeration
Airmax® PondSeries™ Aeration Systems can be installed at the edge of your pond or at a 115 volt* power source several hundred feet away utilizing Airmax® Direct Burial Airline**. The Airmax® Composite Cabinet using EasySet™ Weighted Airline** and fitting sets. The ProAir™4 Weighted Diffuser(s) should be placed near the deepest areas of your pond and distributed equally to promote adequate aeration throughout the entire water body. Airmax® PondSeries™ Aeration Systems are designed to run 24/7 year-round***. Be sure to follow the included installation instructions when running your Airmax® Aeration System for the first time.
*Airmax® PondSeries™ Aeration Systems are also available for 220 voltage power sources. Please call for additional information 866-766-3435
**Airmax® Direct Burial Airline is not included but should be used when trenching airline underground while Airmax® EasySet™ Weighted Airline is intended for underwater use.
***When running your aeration system for the first time be sure to follow the start-up instruction in your user manual to prevent pond turn-overs and fish kills. If you use your pond for recreation in the winter you should turn off and store your aeration system as it creates thin ice and potential fall-through hazards.

"Great Aeration!"John M. of Leesburg, FL
I added a PS30 to my kidney shaped pond last month. I can already see a difference in my water clarity and quality. Already we are enjoying our pond more than we ever have.View entire review
"Very good product."Rick Boehlke of GERMANTOWN, WI
I have a 1/2 acre pond with a depth of 12'. For the last 7 years I used a water fountain to help with water clarity and only had moderate success. After another winter fish kill, I broke down and spent the money on a PS10 in the spring of 2014. It was easy to install with the hardest part being to make sure the diffuser bar didn't flip over as you lowered it to the deepest point. I ran this aerator 24/7, including through the winter. (Remember to relocate the diffuser during the winter.) I couldn't be happier and feel this was well spent money. The water is clearer, we had less algae problems, and see our fish more often. Checking that the air intake filter is clean is easy to do in seconds. I was also concerned that the constant hum of a compressor might be annoying as my electric supply was near my beach. If one listens for it, you will hear it, but the hum is minimal and most people would never realize its there. If this is a concern, placement would address this problem.View entire review
"Saw Improvement In A Week"Doug of St. Albans, ME
I installed the PS20 aerator the day it arrived and I have to say I'm startled at the difference in just a week or so. We can already see about 4 feet down into the water. Of course that now means we can see all the nasty stuff growing on the bottom. I'm sure we have lots of muck and wonder if just using Muckaway might be all we now need to do.View entire review
