Airmax® Pond Logic® Shallow Water Aeration Systems are designed to provide maximum aeration and circulation in even the shallowest bodies of water. Ideal for ponds that typically require multiple aeration plates due to depth restrictions. A powerful yet energy efficient dual diaphragm compressor delivers air to the virtually maintenance-free ProAir-2 Self Weighted Membrane Diffusers. Airmax® Pond Logic® Shallow Water Aeration Systems are shielded from the outside elements by a durable weather-proof SilentAir™ Standard Cabinet while a built in ventilation fan and filtered air intake keep your aeration pump cool and free of moisture. Airmax® Pond Logic® Shallow Water Aeration Systems can be plugged into a standard 120 volt outlet and airline can be trenched several hundred feet to the center of your pond. Airmax® Pond Logic® Shallow Water Aeration Systems are made in the USA and are backed by a 2 year manufacturer's warranty.
How To Use Airmax® Pond Logic® Shallow Water Aeration Systems:
Airmax® Pond Logic® Shallow Water Aeration Systems can be installed at the edge of your pond or at a 115 volt power source several hundred feet away utilizing Airmax® Direct Burial Airline* (not included). The SilentAir™ Standard Cabinet protects the aeration pump components from the elements and does not need to be placed indoors. The Airmax® ProAir™-2 diffuser plates can be connected to the SilentAir™ Standard Cabinet using the included EasySet™ Weighted Airline* and fitting sets. The ProAir™-2 diffuser plates should be placed near the deepest areas of your pond and distributed equally to promote adequate aeration throughout the entire water body. Airmax® Pond Logic® Aeration Systems are designed to run 24/7 year-round**. Be sure to follow the included installation instructions when running your Airmax® Pond Logic® Shallow Water Aeration System for the first time.
*Airmax® Direct Burial Airline should be used when trenching airline underground while Airmax® EasySet™ Weighted Airline is intended for underwater use.
**When running your aeration system for the first time be sure to follow the start-up instruction in your user manual to prevent pond turn-overs and fish kills. If you use your pond for recreation in the winter you should turn off and store your aeration system as it creates thin ice and potential fall-through hazards.
When To Use Airmax® Pond Logic® Shallow Water Aeration Systems:
Airmax® Pond Logic® Shallow Water Aeration Systems can be used in ponds 6 feet in depth or less where standard bottom diffuser aeration systems become less effective and economical. Ideal for shallow water bodies like retention ponds, Airmax® Pond Logic® Shallow Water Aeration Systems will provided continuous circulation and aeration which combats problems with algae, weeds, odors and muck accumulation.
