Aquascape IonGen Electronic Pond Clarifier Replacement Probes are used when the old probe wears out. Typically this is after 1 to 3 years in the pond and is a rather easy pond maintenance job.
Directions:
Simply unplug IonGen unit, shut-off water supply, remove old probe, install new, turn water supply back on, and then plug IonGen back in to electrical source checking control panel to see if ionization needs to be increased or decreased.
