The Atlantic™ Triton™ Universal Check Valve Assembly is the only check valve on the market today that was designed exclusively for the water garden industry. The unique and functional "swing style"assembly features a 2" socket union on the inlet, 2" or 1-1/2" socket unions for the outlet, a molded in 90 elbow, and a slim design that allows clearance when installed with direct drive pumps.

How To Use
Place the pump inside the skimmer or pump vault being used. Measure the distance between the center of the outlet pipe and the top of the pump discharge. Subtract 7" from this number. This is the cut-to-fit reference mark, with 1" cut-to-fit reference marks are molded in both directions on the discharge pipe. Locate the thread size needed for your pump and count up from there until you find the correct mark. Cut the discharge pipe and follow the instructions above to complete installation.
If your cut-to-fit reference number is larger than 9 ½", you will need to extend the discharge pipe. This can easily be done using standard 2" PVC pipe and fittings.
When To Use
Use on any pump installation where pond water backflow must be stopped, or where the pump will need to be removed quickly. Each of the 2, 2" unions used on the Triton™ Universal Check Valve make it very easy to remove, replace, or service pumps without the need of any special tools or cutting the PVC tubing.
