- Green Floating Plant
- Adds Dramatic Interest To Your Pond
- Increases Natural Filtration
Frogbit has green heart-shaped leaves that resemble a miniature water lily and float on top of the waters surface. Their fleshy, heart-shaped leaves are thick and leathery, growing in a 2-6" rosette, and when crowded, the leaves will extend above the waters surface; otherwise they would generally lay flat on the water. Frogbit has small white flowers that bloom in the summer, and like all floating plants, Frogbit is great for shade and added filtration from their many roots.

Mail Order: What To Expect
Plants you receive by mail need time to adjust. Frogbit will arrive in Bunches (several stems or groupings of plants). Upon arrival, they may not appear lush but given time & proper care, they will flourish!
Simply place in water and plant will float freely.
Fertilization is typically not needed for Frogbit as they take excess nutrients from your pond water. If needed, Microbe-Lift® Bloom & Grow™ can be used.
For best results, trim or prune as leaves and flowers begin to turn yellow or brown, remove them completely, discarding them to keep as much excess organic material out of water-body as possible.
In Zones 5 and lower, discard Frogbit after the first hard frost.
Frogbit is considered an invasive species in some states and is restricted from being shipped to those states. Never release these plants in public lakes or waterways in any state.

I just love the heart shaped leaves. I have to buy 2-3 boxes at at time because my Koi love to nibble on them. I don't mind. It just looks great.View entire review
"Had to buy more"Jess O'Conner of Mobridge, SD
I had to buy more. I guess I put them in the sun right away too much. They need shade for a while until they take off.View entire review
"Love this plant!"Amy of Madison, WI
I love this plant, looks like a minature water lily. Plants arrived in good condition and looking forward to the shade that it will give me on my pond. I can see that the fish love it already! Glad I came across this plant.View entire review
