Kraken™ is a systemic aquatic herbicide that provides complete, long-term control of the targeted plants, not just a temporary bump down. Kraken™ carries no restrictions on recreational use such as swimming and fishing, or on livestock consumption of water from the treatment area. Kraken™ is a great option for shoreline cleanup. It kills weeds, brush and other growth while leaving grass untouched to prevent erosion.

How To Apply
Emergent Weeds Mix the amount of Kraken™ and Treatment Booster™ PLUS (if using) with pond water in a tank sprayer according to label instructions. Spray to completely wet leaf surface.
Submerged Weeds Mix the amount of Kraken™ and Treatment Booster™ PLUS (if using) with pond water in a tank sprayer according to label instructions. Spray on water's surface where submerged weeds are growing. For deeper water, inject sprayer tip beneath the water's surface.
Over time, the weeds will begin to brown and die. Once completely dead, use a rake, like the Pond Logic® Pond & Beach Rake, to remove dead weeds to prevent an accumulation of dead plant material and muck.
When To Apply
Kraken™ has no temperature restriction, but it should only be applied when weeds are actively growing. Use with Treatment Booster™ PLUS for best results.
Restrictions
- Wait 120 days before using treated water for irrigation.

Lilypads began taking over my pond this past summer. I treated them with Kraken Aquatic Herbicide a couple of months ago. I did not treat a couple of small patches because Duckie (my Aflac Duck) likes them. The ones I didn't treat are still healthy and green. The rest of them I treated look very, very sickly....the stems on them are all curled up to the top of the pond and the leaves are dead or still dying. I'm anxious to see if this treatment will deter them from coming back in the spring. I'm giving the product a 4 right now, because I'm not sure they will be gone....it looks very promising!
