Laguna Pressure-Flo High Performance Pressurized Pond Filtration Systems are installed outside of your pond and are powered by attaching a submersible pond pump to the inlet of the pressurized filter. The water is pumped through the mechanical, biological and ultraviolet filters and then exits the outlet on the pressurized filter which is typically attached to either a waterfall spillway or plumbing that leads back into the pond. I purchased this to replace a 5 or 6 year old Fishmate system. Improvements over my old system is the snap on hose connectors. The filter scraper is an additional step I wasn't having to do before, but I think it is an improvement. Hopefully it will require fewer teardowns for more complete cleaning. After 6 weeks in use, it seems to do a good job filtering.
