For best results, Liquid Clear™ treatments should begin in the spring when the water warms up and the fish begin to feed. However, Liquid Clear™ is a great jump start for new ponds, after pond clean-outs and/or when ponds become troublesome during warmer summer months.
How Does It Work?
The natural bacteria in this product instantly activates as it hits the water. the bacteria multiply every 20-40 minutes and start digesting the dead organics in the pond to make the water crystal clear.

I've had problems for several years with ammonia levels spiking in early June, after fish get very active. I use a biological filter in my small ornamental pond, but the ammonia still tended to rise, at least until the floating plants took off in mid-summer. In 2010 I used Liquid Clear starting in late March and the ammonia levels remained near zero all season. The fish were very happy and spawned incessantly. |
