Pond Logic® Muck Defense® tablets digest accumulated organic debris, also known as pond muck, that reside at the bottom of your water garden removing excess nutrients, improving water clarity and eliminating noxious odors. Upon application, the Muck Defense® tablets sink below the surface of the water releasing beneficial bacteria which instantly begin digesting debris. Muck Defense® is great at removing hard to reach muck from the bottom of gravel & rock pond bottoms. All the decaying organic material adds to your nutrient load, which in time can create algae blooms. Muck Defense® reduces the waste and eliminates pond odors to keep your pond clear and balanced.

For larger ponds, use 1 tablet per additional 1,000 gallons every 4 weeks.
How To Apply
Add the appropriate number of Muck Defense® tablets using the dosage chart above, evenly dispersing them around your pond. They will instantly sink to the bottom of your pond and begin to dissolve.
When To Apply
Apply Muck Defense® once a month when water temperatures are above 50°F. Treatment should continue until desired results are achieved.
Restrictions
When used in accordance with label directions Pond Logic® Muck Defense® is completely safe for fish, plants, pets and pond wildlife.

We installed our water feature a little over a year ago. This spring when the ice melted, there was about 3" of muck over the bottom. After two treatments with muck pellets, the bottom is clean & you can see the rocks again. This is a great product and we intend to continue using it!

Very good stuff. Really works. I have a 600 gallon pong with two red-earred sliders. With the heat this summer, they were eating alot, ther fore fouling the water alot. Odor was strong. Muck congealed on filters, had to clean every two to three days. Goldfish ate alot of stuff off the filters. Still somewhat of an odor. I would like to get rid of that.

I purchased this with trepidation. Not sure anything could cure my spring woes. I was wrong. It has only been about a month and the string algae is gone, and the pond clarity is back to where I can see the Koi at the bottom. I will keep watching the pond status but I am a customer for life now. btw, Pond is roughly 3000 Gallons
