How To Apply Pond Dye
Simply pour Pond Dye in several spots along the pond's edge – no mixing required. One single quart of Pond Logic® Pond Dye is equivalent to one gallon of other diluted pond and lake colorants.
When To Apply Pond Dye
For year-long beauty, apply in early spring. Water temperature has no effect on Pond Dye and should be applied monthly or as needed to maintain a true color all season long. Heavy rain and/or intense sunlight may require additional treatments of pond dye.
Restrictions
Pond Logic® Pond Dye may be applied to lakes and ponds used for irrigation and aquaculture. Water treated with Pond Dye may be used for recreation, fishing and other activities immediately after treatment. Safe for recreational ponds, horses, livestock, birds, pets, fish, wildlife and the environment. Do not apply to water that will be used for human consumption.

Works great to create a mirror surface in our pond. Our dogs drink it and swim in it with no problems.

"Black Less Effective Than Blue"Paul Mailloux of China Township, MI
In previous years 1 1/2 to 2 bottles of Nature's Blue turned my pond a bright and vivid almost royal blue color. This year 4 bottles of black has slightly darkened the green I was starting with and is nowhere near black.

"Nature's Blue - Great Color. Long Lasting"George of Columbus, OH
I have always used AquaShade in the past but I thought I would try something different (much better price). I was surprised that a little quart was the same as an a gallon. The color is long lasting and looks much more natural.

I really like this stuff. I only used 1/4 of the quart and still had blue toilet water for weeks! You will truly get your moneys worth, just don't put to much in!

I started using this dye a few months ago and I absolutely love the color. I have an 1/8 acre pond and it barely takes any dye to turn it a beautiful blue. My pond looks great!

Pour in the amount you need by the directions, maybe a little less, come back the next day and WOW. Goes a long way. Also, I can't say enough about how fast it was before it was at my front door, great shipping speed.

goes a long way. Much better product than what you can get at the local retailer. One application lasted 3 weeks and the water was very blue. I may have over applied, but it works. Stopped algae growth too.

"Twilight Blue - This has become my favorite color"Pat of Garretson, SD
I've tried other brands, but the pond dye at the Pond Guy is the best value for the money. I use half quart once a month for my half acre pond to keep the water looking twilight (smile) blue. I've used Nature's Blue, but I really like this new color. We love fishing in the evenings and there is no algae to deal with. We're going to add some before winter ends next year. My kids are looking forward to seeing what it will do to the ice and snow.

"Pond Logic Blue Dye"Rick of Granger, IN
Awesome product but be "very careful" with this. I rinsed my filters against the brick on our house and now have blue spots all over. Tried to pressure wash them off to no avail. This dye lasts a VERY long time. Unless you want to look like a Smurf wear gloves and boots if you're going in to pull weeds, etc., It'll stain your hands.
