Pond Logic All Natural Pond Salt reduces fish stress while adding essential electrolytes, improves gill function and protects against common pond toxins. Most common diseases and infections can be cured and prevented simply by adding Pond Logic All Natural Pond Salt, and also helps in the fight against string algae by softening water.
Beware, many other common salts, like table or rock salt, can be harmful to fish, and only evaporated sea salt like Pond Logic All Natural Pond Salt should be used in ponds or water gardens containing fish.
An all natural sea salt that replaces electrolytes, which fish lose in times of stress, Pond Logic All Natural Pond Salt including potassium, sodium, chloride, calcium, and magnesium. All are essential for the uptake of oxygen and release of carbon dioxide and ammonia.
Dosage without aquatic plants:
Use 2-1/2 cups per 100 gallons of water. When treating for disease, isolate the fish in another tank with vigorous aeration and use 5 cups per 100 gallons.

I have been buying salt in the small containers from a local store and I was paying almost 5x as much. As far as I can tell it is the same stuff??? I use it when I have a sick fish or when I add new fish. No problems so far, I am happy. |

I add salt after all of my water changes. The cheap price is easy to pay for the peace of mind it gives me in regards to the well being of my Koi. |

After speaking to a customer service rep, I just learned about salt and how much it can help! I'd rather buy salt than new fish and it's economically priced! I'm so glad this is part of my routine now. My fish appear to be much more active and lively. |

I'm no expert on this product, I use it when I have to add new water to my pond to help avoid diseases to my fish. I haven't had any problems so it must do something. |
