"PondAir Aeration Kit"Ed Cohen of Baltimore, MD
The kit arrived in a very timely manner and was well packaged. There was more than ample tubing for my pond size. I liked how quiet it ran and the rotating dial allowed me to adjust the air flow to my liking. The aerator not only was a bonus to the fish but a visual feature as well.

"Nice addition to the pond"Thomas Watkins of Algonac, MI
Purchased the 4 stone aeration pump for two reasons - 1st. I have a deep section that does not benefit from the current of the waterfall and the stream, therefore I needed something to move the water at the bottom of the 4' deep section, and the 2nd, We just had a severe winter and this was the first year I had lost all my beautiful fish, so I purchased the aerator to generate movement to attempt to keep an access for gases to escape during the winter.... Quality wise: I had the aerator stones in the pond for only one month and we wanted to move them. We brought them to the surface and three of the four stones fell apart at the hose connection... We were told by my supplier that they did have a few bad ones and they replaced the stones immediately.... No problem since the replacement - we will see how they make it through the winter...

"pond logic aerator"barbara anderson of e. rockaway, NY
Don't buy this if you thinks it's made for the outdoors. It has to be protected from the elements or it will become a $60.00 paper weight. We only found this out AFTER purchasing it. It would have been nice if this information was made available before purchasing it, as I would have never bought it. I already had a large aquarium aerator that I could have just as easily used. We placed it under what we thought was a well-protected, fake rock, but rain from hurricane Irene found its way in. If something is made for the outdoors, why isn't it housed appropriately? Oh, it worked beautifully.....before moisture got in.

"Tiny Bubbles (like the song)"R LeChard of Pittsburgh, PA
Am giving it a three star on the basis of the volume of air that comes out of the 4 line aereator. My pond is 2 feet deep and with all 4 lines attached to the air stones, there are appears to be insufficient bubbles to keep ice from freezing. I bought it as I turned off my waterfall and wanted to add air to the pond to counteract any gases building up in the pond. I will reevaluate this rating after winter and if it actually does the job intended, I will up my rating.I, too, was surprised that this outdoor pump must be kept out of the weather. I managed to build a shelter around it. The rest is up to The PondAir-4

"PondLogic PondAir 4 Aerator"Louis R. Sasso of Medford, MA
I purchaced this device Some time before frost in 2011. It did not provide enough air to prevent ice from forming on my 3' deep pond and we had a a very mild winter. Sooooo I had to purchase a pond ring heater. When I pulled the air stones from the pond on 3/18/11 2 of the 4 round stones were broken at the top. The other 2 were feeding very little air. I have e-mailed this to the Pond Guy and am waiting for an answer. If they resolve this problem I would consider a higher rating. ***Response From The Pond Guy - We appreciate your feedback and apologize for the trouble you are having with your PondAir Aeration Kit. Thank you for working with our customer service team to resolve the matter and we hope that your replacement air stones and diaphragm resolve the issue. As always, we strive for 100% customer satisfaction. We do however, want you to rate the products you purchase based on your honest assessment of their value, quality & performance. We appreciate your feedback! ***

"Aeration unit performs well"W L Wagner of Middletown, MD
Due to previous reviews, I kept this Aeration unit out of the rain and other weather, but it does get very hot in the summer when the sun hits the area it is housed in. When that happens, the rubber tubing will expand and fall off the outlets of the air pump, but can be placed back on in the cooler evening air. However, for the cost, the unit has performed very well for nearly two years (so far), and has kept the water open in the (mild) winters. The fish seem to like to swim through the air bubbles also. The airstones are easy to replace if needed.
