Feeding Pond Logic Spring & Fall Fish Food helps your fish to be able to digest their food, and assists in keeping them in optimum health throughout the beginning and end of the pond and water gardening season, primarily when water temperatures are beginning to cool towards winter.
When to use:
Change fish over to Pond Logic Spring & Fall Fish Food when water temperature fall bellow 55º, its wheat-germ based formula is much easier for the fish to digest in cooler water temperatures. Fish, being cold-blooded, can not digest food as easily once the water temperature falls below 55º; this is why we use a wheat-germ based fish food, thus making it much easier for their delicate digestive systems.
How to use:
Simply use Pond Logic Spring & Fall Fish Food to feed fish up to two or three times per day, but do not exceed the amount that fish will comfortably eat within a 5 minute period.
Precautions:
All fish feeding should STOP once the water temperature reaches 45º. Being that the fish are almost in state of hibernation at that point, they will then live off their stored body fat until spring feedings start up, again at 55º.
