I thought I would try this product to help keep the duckweed and algae off my pond so that I could fish. I wasn't disappointed at how effectively this help me to keep the pond clean of floating debris. Glad that I ordered the Deskuzzer.

This does not work for Duck Weed. The float pushes the weed ahead. The only way it works is to push it on the bow of a boat and hold the float above the water, but then the weed comes out the side and it is difficult to lift and empty. What works better is a swiming pool skimmer.

I love this device! Very light weight and easy to handle. With a 5 ft net and floater attachment it makes quick work of skimming the pond surface. Works well from the shore or from a canoe. For the last 5 years I used a pool skimmer and long vac. pole. It would take me hours, the bag would get heavy and would require frequent emptying. This is a much better system. I actually enjoy skimming my pond now!
