Cide-Kick increases the wetting, spreading, sticking and dispersing of the chemical. Cide-Kick helps break down the waxy cuticle on the leaf surface and helps penetrate the bud and bark area (of woody brush), allowing a more effective uptake of the herbicide. Cide-Kick is a by-product of the citrus industry, a low viscosity oil and is compatible with most aquatic herbicides and algaecides. Simply mix 2 ounces of Cide-Kick for every gallon of mix (both water and chemical) you are using.
To effectively treat weeds and algae, two things must happen:Application of RedWing:
Mix in a tank sprayer. Spray target weeds directly. Treat only up to half of the pond's surface, waiting 10 to 14 days before treating the second half. In hot weather or when fish are stressed, treat 1/4 to 1/3 of the pond at a time. When treating weeds in deeper water, place the sprayer's tip beneath the water's surface.
Please remember to follow all label instructions.

I find it to be ok on small problems such as duckweed, but is not very effective on grasses or where you have a significant problem with a pond.

Did not have any affect on the underwater weeds I wanted to get rid of. This product is not worth the money.

Worked for me every time. Better to apply early to problem weeds than late. One quart keeps my 1/2 acre pond problem free all season.

Pretty good takes a little long to "kick-in" but does a good job killing everything.
