The totally redesigned AllClear G2 combines quality, performance, and ease of use. Ensuring no detail was left out, this filter was designed in Germany, exclusively for The Pond Guy®. Filtration begins with a high output, low energy 9 watt UV clarifier. The UV works by clumping together algae cells so they can be removed by the multistage mechanical and biological filtration processes. This multistage approach uses alternating layers of high quality filter sponge and pads with specific cell densities. This combination allows for the removal of large debris all the way down to fine particulates, allowing for completely polished water.

With a commitment to simple and easy maintenance, an internal diverter valve and waste outlet was added. When a cleanout is needed, simply remove the backflush cap, turn the function dial to the backflush outlet to activate the diverter and begin the cleaning. Plug the pump back in. Once this process is engaged, simply lift on the patented easy-clean handle, to compress the filter media inside the canister, giving it one or two long squeezes. This action releases debris, fish waste and other contaminates from the filter pads. The filter waste will be sent directly to the waste outlet, where it can be directed to your lawn or garden and used as fertilizer. When the backflush water turns clear, unplug your pump. Cap off the backflush discharge, turn the dial to back to filter and turn your pump and AllClear G2  Filter back on. Your filter is now clean and ready for operation.

The Pond Guy® AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System is set-up for 1 Inch or 1¼ Inch Kink Free Tubing. The AllClear G2 is designed for use with the SolidFlo Pump.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I connect the filter to my waterfall?

Yes, as long as the gallons per hour on the pump used does not exceed the max flow rate of the filter in the chart above. If your waterfall pump exceeds the max flow rate of the pressurized filter, consider running the filter on a smaller pump.

What happens if I run a pump that is above the recommended max flow of the AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System

If your pump's flow rate (gallons per hour) is higher than the max flow rate of the AllClear G2 Pressurized Filter, the UV will underperform as there will not have enough exposure time to clear the water. You also run the risk of damaging the filter unit and seals by creating too much pressure, which in time can cause the filter to leak.

How often do can I need to clean my AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System?

The amount of fish in your pond will determine how frequently you will need to clean your filter. In general, you should perform regular maintenance once per week using the backflush system.

How often do can I need to clean the quartz sleeve on my AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System?

We recommend replacing the UVC bulb once a year, even if the bulb operates, to maintain maximum results. The quartz sleeve can be cleaned out yearly or when water clarity is reduced. To clean the quartz sleeve, spray it with Airmax® Fountain & Aeration Cleaner. Allow product to sit for 10-30 seconds. Carefully wipe off excess product with a soft cloth and rinse with clean water. Repeat if needed.

Why do I have to bury my AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System in the ground?

Burying the AllClear Pressurized Filtration System up to the lid allows for easy camouflage of the filter as well as the tubing. It also secures the unit so it does not tip over or fall into the pond. With the lid exposed above ground, this also allows for easy routine maintenance. You can even further camouflage your AllClear™ G2 Pressurized Filtration System by using the AllClear Rock Cover.

Can I run the AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System in the winter?

If the ground/pond freezes during winter in your area, it is important to drain and remove the entire AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System before winter. This protects the unit from the freezing cold temperatures, which can lead to the unit being damaged.
