Just in the nick of time I used this netting to help winterized my pond that sits beneath a messy Tallow tree. It is already coveed with hundreds of leaves I won't have to net out of the pond. Great product! Will save me a lot of back-breaking work.

"Great pond net"David of Bethesda, MD

In past years I have used a larger mesh net, which snagged leaves and had to be cleaned off frequently, and let small maple seeds through to the pond. This year I tried the 20'x33' size of this fine mesh netting, and it worked great. It lets nothing through, and the fine mesh makes a smooth surface that leaves just slide off of. It even went through Hurricane Sandy! I found the included nylon stakes were pretty worthless, so I used framing nails and gutter spikes to peg down the edges.

"mesh pond netting"Jolene Amo of Alanson, MI

I was excited to learn there was a product with finer mesh to catch pine needles besides the leaves. I just wish I could see my pond beneath the netting. Also, the pegs for holding the netting in place are flimsy and don't hold the netting well in place. It is serving the purpose but am disappointed in my inability to view the pond and how it is secured.
