Perfect for eliminating persistent floating aquatic weeds like Duckweed and Watermeal, Clipper™ Aquatic Herbicide by Valent® is available in a 5 pound container that is capable of treating ponds up to 5 acres when used in surface applications. Clipper™ is formed into quick-dissolve granules that mix effortlessly in water eliminating messy and difficult applications. Clipper™ can be mixed with water and applied using a chemical sprayer. Valent® Clipper® Aquatic Herbicide can also be used on a wide variety of algae, submerged and floating weeds.

How To Apply
Surface Application - Mix 2-3 ounces of Clipper™ with 1 gallon of water for every 1/8 acre (5,456 feet).
Subsurface Application - Mix 8 ounces of Clipper™ with 1 gallon of water for every 1/8 acre (5,456 feet).
Mix the amount of Clipper™ and water in a tank sprayer according to label instructions. Spray onto floating weeds and algae, or place the tip beneath the water's surface. Over time, the weeds will begin to brown and die. Once completely dead, use a rake, like the Pond Logic® Pond & Beach Rake, to remove dead weeds to prevent an accumulation of dead plant material and muck.
When To Apply
Clipper™ has no temperature restriction, but it should only be applied when weeds are actively growing. Do not re-treat the same section of water within 28 days of application.
Restrictions
- Wait 5 days before using treated water for irrigation.
