Most packages ship via ground carrier. If faster service is needed please call us at 866-766-3435. Orders will be delivered in 6-10 business days unless item is back-ordered or drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer. Live plants are excluded from free shipping & follow the shipping table shown below. Additional shipping charges on heavy/large items still apply and will be noted in your cart. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico, please contact us for shipping rates.

Express Shipping is available for $12.95. If your order is submitted by 12 PM ET, it will ship same day (Monday - Friday) for delivery within 1-5 business days. If an order with Express Shipping is made after 12 PM ET, it will ship the following business day.
Live Plants, Fish & Snails
NOTE: Aquatic Plants & Snails are excluded from the Free Shipping over $99 promotion. This also means the merchandise total for all Aquatic Plants & Snails will not count towards the $99 threshold. Aquatic Plants & Snails will ship separately from all other items. Aquatic Plants & Snails are live goods and must be shipped express.
Plant Restrictions Some plants have state restrictions. Please call or view plant product page for plant availability in your state.
Pre-Ordering Live Plants We suggest pre-ordering all live plants. Pre-orders will be released depending on the zone(s) to which they are shipped. This ensures plants will be safe upon arrival. Plants are held in accordance to climate zones. Please click here for estimated ship dates. If an ordered plant is not available at time of shipment, a “like plant” of equal or greater value will be substituted by the grower with no prior notice.
Pond Snails Black Japanese Trapdoor Snails are available. A minimum of 5 snails must be ordered when ordering plants. A minimum of 20 snails must be ordered when ordering without plants. Snails cannot be shipped to California.
Shipping Information for Live Plants & Snails All plants, snails and tadpoles will ship out according to your climate zone. If you ask to have your items shipped before your zone is ready or at any time when we’re holding shipments due to high heat, your warranty will be voided. Please inspect your order upon arrival, if you are missing item(s)s or were shipped the wrong item(s) please contact us within 24 hours. Live items have a 14 day Live Goods Guarantee. If anytime within 14 days of receiving your item(s) appear to be dead, please notify as soon as possible. This guarantee does not cover any associated shipping costs, as they are not refundable.
Upon arrival your plants may not appear lush and may just need a little bit of water, sunlight and fertilizer to perk up so immediately put your item(s) into water and follow the planting instructions that were included with your order. For the purpose of shipping, mail order plants generally come in one of three ways; as a bare root (only root and little or no foliage), as a bunch (several stems or groupings of the plant), or as a net pot (roots with some foliage). Please note that all plants are shipped alive and with a strong root base.
All Plants and Snails have a flat rate shipping fee of $9.95. Plants and Snails cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
Due to the nature of living goods, we may have limited inventory of specific plants. Prices subject to change without notice.
Chemicals cannot be shipped to California, Connecticut, Maine, New Jersey, New York & Washington. Other states may have restrictions. See individual product page for restrictions.
Oversized or Heavy Items
If you are ordering an oversized or heavy item, additional handling will apply. Some items may ship by common carrier. This ship method, along with additional handling charges are viewable on the View Cart page.
Please inspect your delivery before signing your delivery receipt. Signed delivery receipts are proof that your shipment has arrived "complete and without damage". You may refuse a shipment if it has suffered damage in transit without penalty.
