Ordering Aquatic Plants
NOTE: Aquatic Plants & Snails are excluded from the Free Shipping over $99 promotion and will ship separately from all other items. Aquatic Plants & Snails are considered live goods and must be shipped express.
The following plants have some state restrictions: Hornwort/Coontail, Parrot Feather, Longwood Hybrid Canna, Dwarf Umbrella Palm, Micro-Mini Cattail, Water Lettuce & Water Hyacinth. Live plants are shipped within 7-10 business days when weather permits. Plants are shipped 2-Day Express to ensure your orders arrive healthy and intact.

Plant & snail shipping charges will be applied during checkout. Your order will ship directly from our nursery. Please note plants will ship Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to ensure you will receive your plants for the weekend. All plants ship bare root with the exception of bog plants which ship in 3.5" soil plugs. Also note, when non-aquatic plant items are ordered with aquatic plants, they will ship as two separate shipments. The aquatic plants will ship with the appropriate plant shipping cost and non-aquatic plant items will be subject to our normal shipping rates.
Ordering Snails
Black Japanese Trapdoor Snails are available, but must be ordered in quantities of 20 or more or with plant orders. Snails cannot be shipped to California.
Ordering Chemicals
Chemicals cannot be shipped to California, Connecticut, Maine, New Jersey, New York & Washington.
Ground Shipments:
Most packages ship via ground carrier. If faster service is needed please call. Ground delivery ships within 24 hours of placing your order (except weekends). Orders will be delivered in 4-8 business days unless item is back-ordered or drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer. Live plants are excluded from free shipping & follow the shipping table shown above. Additional shipping charges on heavy/large items still apply and will be noted in your cart. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico are excluded from free shipping; standard ground rates will be applied during checkout. Shipping rates are as follows:

Motor Freight Shipments:
If an item is too large to ship ground the item must be shipped via common carrier. The shipping rates for these items are as follows:

Damaged Shipments:
Please inspect your delivery before signing your delivery receipt. Signed delivery receipts are proof that your shipment has arrived "complete and without damage". You may refuse a shipment if it has suffered damage in transit without penalty.
