  • Remove Aquatic Vegetation
  • Adjustable Blade For Tough Angles
  • Cut At The Base Of Pond Weeds

Remove your pond weeds in just minutes with the Weed Razer™ Pro. The Weed Razer™ Pro is an adjustable pond tool that will slice vegetation at its roots and is adjustable from 12" all the way up to 62". With the included 25' rope the Weed Razer™ Pro is capable of cutting virtually every type of pond weed. This pond tool is able to cut in deep water, shallow water, at the base of weeds, and will provide very little resistance as it slices through vegetation.

Remove weeds in a simple 4 step process!

  1. Give it a toss.

  2. Let it sink.

  3. Pull it in.

  4. Repeat.

The Weed Razer™ Pro clears a path with each throw. Weighing just 9 pounds, it is light enough to toss 30 feet or more, yet heavy enough to sink straight to the bottom. Once you've cut the pond weeds, we recommend that you remove the cut vegetation from the water. Decaying vegetation will provide nutrients that can stimulate new vegetation.

"Works Great!"John Mogelnicki of Brighton, MI

I've been aware of the "weed razer" for a while, but skeptical. However I decided to try it to clear the swim area for my daughter's birthday party. Ordered it on Tuesday from The Pond Guy, got it two days later. Easy assembly, and adjustment of the blades. I tried it from the end of my dock and in a 20 minutes I had a lot of floating weeds. It was getting dark and with no wind I couldn't see through the floating weeds to know if I got it all, but I could tell that it cut a lot of them. Hopefully the wind will pick up tomorrow and I can see what was cleared. I only tried one angle setting. Things I would do to improve it: The rope could be another 10' longer. The handle was made to assemble and disassemble easily with the metal buttons but I'm not sure how many seasons it will hold up, but it worked great today. There was a bolt and nut in the box, but no instructions to do anything with them. The blades are razor sharp! It did come with blade protectors, hopefully they hold up for a few years, or I would like a way to get replacements. I don't know if I needed to buy the Pro w/ the adjustable angle, it has the ability to go either direction from the non pro position. I'm glad I got it, should have picked one up a few years ago. No longer thinking of getting the Carey Weed Roller.

"Incredible!"Dean Rollie of Bruno, MN

We have quite the cattail problem in our 1/3 acre pond so I decided to give the WeedRazer Pro a try. First of all, the instructions could use a lot of improvement, but it's pretty easy to figure out. Like the other reviewer said, there's no mention of why the extra bolt and nut are in the box. But once I put it together I managed to clear about 40' of shoreline in less than half an hour. I'm glad I got the Pro model, since some of the cattails are so thick that I couldn't use it at full width. Well worth the money!

"Weedrazer is a great product"Sam Heatwole of Charlotte County, VA

I bought the 48"swath Weedrazer, and have been well pleased with the results. Now, it is important to note that while the WR (Weedrazer)does a great job of cutting the weeds, you still have to clear them out of the pond...which with many weeds is a difficult, time consuming, and logistically problematic chore at best! If you leave cut weeds in your pond you are asking for more problems as the rotting vegetation encourages more weed growth in addition to befouling your pond or lake. Some sort of deployable dragnet or rake which you can throw to retrieve the cut weeds with is necessary as well as the WR. You can make one of these with pvc pipe and high density foam, or buy one ready made. If you have a lot of weeds, this is a great tool for close in work...within about 20 yards or so, but past that, you will need to deploy the WR farther out in the water by some means... you can't throw it any farther, so it just doesn't allow you to clear a large area of water beyond 20 yards...We added line to the line supplied with the WR and then we deploy the WR by boat up to about 75 yards, drop it in the water from the boat and pull it in from the dock. The problem with this is that transporting the WR by boat is awkward and dangerous and I don't recommend it at all...but it is the only way to increase the range of the tool.
