Pond Logic® PondClear™ is an all natural, beneficial bacteria designed to remove excess nutrients and eliminate noxious odors in your pond. PondClear™ naturally improves pond water by attacking suspended organic waste and muck. The bacteria digest organic debris leaving you with water that is clean and clear while promoting a healthy ecosystem. You will achieve the same great results using either the liquid gallon or water soluble packets of PondClear™. Liquid gallons of PondClear™ are available for pond owners that prefer the smaller initial cost. PondClear™ packets are easier to apply and are more cost effective per treatment than using liquid PondClear™.

How To Apply PondClear™
PondClear™ Packets - DO NOT OPEN PACKETS! Packets are to be applied directly to the water. Distribute packets from shore or boat. PondClear™ works best when evenly disbursed across the body of water.
PondClear™ Liquid - Shake well before use. Apply directly out of the container. PondClear™ works best when poured in several spots along the shoreline.
When To Apply PondClear™
Apply every two weeks when water temperatures are above 50º F. Wait three days after an algaecide and/or herbicide treatment to apply PondClear™.
Restrictions
PondClear™ may be applied to lakes and ponds used for irrigation and aquaculture. Water treated with PondClear™ may be used for recreation, fishing and other activities immediately after treatment. Safe for recreational ponds, horses, livestock, birds, pets, fish, wildlife and the environment. Do not apply to water that will be used for human consumption.

I've used this per label (very expensive) for about 8 years. It seemed to help with other clarifiers they sell (also expensive) with both pond was crystal clear for 2 different seasons.(not consecutive) now I keep buying in hope? Pond hasn't been clear in 2+ years. No one can tell me why? But they will sell me more & plus other stuff or $95 to come and inspect my pond (I'm 5 miles from store) save your receipts they do guarantee it though....

Hi everyone, I have a natural pond, about 1/4-1/2 acre in my yard. Bought my home 9 yrs ago and have been working on this muck filled, green water mess. Found PondClear, MuckAway, EcoBoost this spring 2011. It's Oct. now and in just this one season, I can see the sand on the bottom. The water has gotten so clear that my fish (large Koi & Albino catfish)are skiddish. They can see out so well now it's freaking them out! I wondered why during the summer their behavior changed. Over the winter/next season, I expect all the muck to be gone. Absolutely amazing results I never thought were possible.

I bought a place with a 1 acre pond with serious muck and water quality issues, the first year I used this product from the pond guy, I had excellent results removing muck and increasing clarity. For some unknown reason, the next several years I switched to other products and had minimal results, nothing compared to PondClear. The downside is cost but it's not as bad as other products but due to the economy, this year I used a very cheap bacteria and was very disappointed with the results. Hopefully, next year, things will be better and I can get back on track with PondClear and the muck pellets. Also I think (just an opinion) some bacteria products work well in some ponds and other products work well in other ponds, it kind of depends and needs to be trial/error. The most prohibitive and annoying factor is the cost of this stuff but all Bacteria products are expensive.
