From product dimensions to operation manuals, the TECH SPECS tab contains all of the information you need to choose the right equipment for your pond.
How To Use
Step 1: Place the pump in the skimmer.
Step 2: If your skimmer does not have a pipe outlet pre-cut, make this cut before you move on to Step 3.
Step 3: Measure (in inches) the height from the top of the pump's discharge to the bottom of the skimmers pipe outlet, and then subtract eight inches from this number. Note the measurement. Measure this distance from the bottom of the check valve (excluding the threads) and mark your cut line.
Step 4: Using a PVC saw cut the pipe at the cut line that you have determined in Step 3.
Step 5: After your cut has been made, thread the bottom half of the check valve into the pump. Dry fit the top half of the check valve with the bottom half. The rubber coupler should align with the skimmer pipe outlet.
Step 6: If the alignment is correct, use PVC Primer and glue (not included) to secure the bottom and top half of the check valve together.
When To Use
Use on any pump installation where pond water backflow must be stopped, or where the pump will need to be removed quickly. Perfect for skimmer boxes.
