Aquathol® effectively eliminates a wide variety of submerged weeds. As potency is unaffected by surrounding organics, Aquathol® is a great choice for use in turbid water with excess organic debris. Aquathol® can be used on water bodies with slowing moving or flowing water. It begins working on contact with submerged weeds to break down cell structure and inhibit protein synthesis.

How To Apply

Aquathol® K Liquid Application- Aquathol® K should be sprayed on the water or injected below the water surface. It may be applied as a concentrate or diluted with water depending on the equipment.

Aquathol® Super K Granular Application - Aquathol® Super K is a contact herbicide; consequently, apply when plants are present. Apply Aquathol® Super K as evenly as possible over areas to be treated.

Use a tank sprayer or granular spreader and apply according to label instructions. Over time, the weeds will begin to brown and die. Once completely dead, use a rake, like the Pond Logic® Pond & Beach Rake, to remove dead weeds to prevent an accumulation of dead plant material and muck.

When To Apply

Aquathol® has no temperature restriction, but it should be applied when weeds are actively growing.

Restrictions

Wait 7 days before using treated water for human drinking water.
Wait 7 days before using treated water for domestic animal and livestock drinking water.
Wait 7 days before using treated water for irrigation.
