This is the most widely used filtration media on the market. Its inexpensive cost and ability to be easily cut to fit your filter or skimmer box make this money saving filter media pad extremely popular. Your filter media pads can be cleaned and reused several times until you begin to detect signs of fraying, tearing or excessive wear. Extremely economical and versatile, this 2 inch filter media pad can be used in waterfall boxes and skimmers. Leftover media can also be cut into cubes, placed in a Mesh Filter Media Bag and used as secondary filtration media. Available in pre-cut pads 24" x 56" or 28" wide rolls can be ordered by the foot.

This is something I have been looking for and haven't been able to find. I have tried other products for filters in my pump housing and all the others make the pump draw water to the bottom and trip off the pump. With this product the water stays at level, works so well the pump never trips and best of all is one great filter. It filters the sludge, alge and everything that it is supposed to.
