How To Use
The SOL_R Action Owl™ does not require any assembly. Once you have found a home for your decoy there are several unique ways to mount it in place; you can mount it to a tall pole, tie it in place, fill it with sand or gravel using the removable plug, use an adhesive for stationary placement or high wind, or drill into place using wood screws.
When To Use
The SOL_R Action Owl™ decoy is best used during the spring and into the late fall as they provide great protection for ponds and gardens.

The owl looks good, works a few times after moving the head. The head sticks after a few turns then will not turn again until moving it with your hands then works a few turns then sticks again. Might as well stand in the garden and scare things myself. It was a waste of about $50.00

I have been battling birds doing their business on my boat. i mounted this solar owl to my piling and it worked. I have tried owls and other decoys in the past with some luck. From everything I read you have to move you decoy for it to effective. It must be the moving head that makes it work so well?

It keeps the birds from "decorating" my patio furniture. My only problem is that my cat is afraid of it! She wont even go on my patio now. I don't kn ow what to do? I guess if she keep the birds away i wouldnt need the owl:)
