- Deter Nighttime Predators
- LED Light Charges By Solar Panel
- Activates At Dusk
Protect your pond and decorative fish from nighttime predators with the Nite Guard Solar® predator deterrent. Animals that hunt and feed at night interpret the flashing red LED light on the Nite Guard Solar® to be the eye of another predator which causes unease and an urge to flee the area. The Nite Guard Solar® utilizes a solar panel to charge the energy efficient LED light and an automatic photosensitive switch ensuring the unit turns on when you need it most. The Nite Guard Solar® is sealed, completely weatherproof and is constructed with a mounting tab at the top of the unit so it can be easily screwed to a post or stake. 1 year manufacturer's warranty.
From dosage rates to product labels, the USAGE tab contains all of the information you need to properly apply your pond care products.
How To Use
Mount the Nite Guard Solar® light at eye level of the animal to be stopped and face it away from the area to be protected. One to four lights will be required depending upon your application. It is NOT motion activated but will flash automatically from dusk through dawn so night animals are stopped at long distances (500 yards or more) away. They do not come in to investigate but see the flash as a threat the instant they are aware of it. Protecting ALL directions will eliminate the night animals from finding an alternate entry point. As with any predator control option, the lights may need to be moved periodically to continue to deter predators.
When To Use
Nite Guard Solar® should be used year round to protect your pond. It is weatherproof and will work in extreme conditions. Nite Guard Solar® can be used to deter night predators or night feeders away from an area. Use it on blue heron, hawks, raccoons, deer, fox, opossum, bobcats, coyotes, muskrats, bear, cougar, mountain lion, wild boar, mink, skunk, wolf and weasels.

"Nite Guard Solar Predator Control"Charles Short of Byron, GA
So far it seems to keep raccoons and opposums away from my koi fish pond. Two weeks ago I trapped 5 raccoons and one opossum at the pond. Since I installed the control no evidence of pond entry by these or other animals. I hope predators don't get used to the red blinking light!View entire review
