TetraPond® GreenFree® Ultraviolet Clarifiers help keep your pond free of the planktonic algae that causes green water. A rugged green plastic body on the TetraPond® GreenFree® Ultraviolet Clarifier houses a quartz sleeve and UV bulb. The view window built into the body of the TetraPond® GreenFree® allow you to see if the UV bulb is functioning without opening the unit. A safety switch on the TetraPond® GreenFree Ultraviolet Clarifier powers off the UV bulb when the unit is opened protecting both yourself and the equipment. Step down barbed hose fittings ensure the perfect fit to your existing flexible plumbing and an 15 foot power cord ensures power is always within reach. Easily camouflage your 5 Watt, 9 Watt & 18 Watt units with a TrueRock™ Medium Boulder Cover. The 36 Watt unit can be hidden by TrueRock™ Large Boulder Cover.

How To Use
The TetraPond® GreenFree® Ultraviolet Clarifier is intended to be installed outside of the pond and comes with two step down barbed hose fittings that accommodate various plumbing sizes. Attach your plumbing from your pump and filter to the inlet of the GreenFree® UV Clarifier and connect the hose leading back into your pond, waterfall or stream to the outlet. The UV Clarifier plugs into a standard 120 volt power outlet to power the UV bulb. For best results run the TetraPond® GreenFree® Ultraviolet Clarifier 24/7.
When To Use
The TetraPond® GreenFree® Ultraviolet Clarifier should be used in any water garden or decorative fish pond that suffers from green water. Continuously running a UV Clarifier will kill the planktonic algae that causes green water and prevent it from reestablishing a presence in your pond. If you live in an area that experiences freezing temperatures disconnect and store your TetraPond® GreenFree® Ultraviolet Clarifier until temperatures remain above freezing.
