We have two small ponds and have been fighting algae growth in the water for several years. We did not want to use chemicals because we have wildlife that will drink from the pond and do not want to harm them. Our only solution was to use barley and to clean the pond every couple of weeks. I installed the unit in the larger pond which was needing cleaning and by the end of the second day noticed an improvement. Within a week the water was clear. We are very happy with the clarifier. My only complaint was that it would not fit my 1/2 inch tubing so I had to adapt the fittings.
