Our Technical Sales Specialist role combines customer service and technical sales into a position that offers everything you’ve been looking for. It provides commissions and bonuses on top of a great base pay with no cold calling. Plus, you get the opportunity to coach and educate people on how to improve their ponds. Previous pond knowledge is not required—we will train you!
Ecommerce Site Merchandiser
The E-commerce Site Merchandiser plays a key role in shaping how customers experience our brand online. You’ll curate products and craft engaging digital journeys that make online shopping effortless and inspiring across multiple websites. This role blends creativity, strategy, and analytics, bringing together design, data, and customer insight to drive performance and growth.
Electrical Engineer
As our Electrical Engineer, you’ll join a small, high-impact team of engineers where ideas move fast, collaboration runs deep, and every contribution directly shapes the final product. This hands-on role plays a key part in developing and supporting the innovative systems that power our B2B and B2C products. You’ll work closely within our fabrication and R&D spaces across more than 200,000 square feet of clean, well-lit facilities designed for building, testing, and bringing new ideas to life.
Production
Instrumental in delivering quality service to our customers, our Warehouse Production employees complete daily production and assembly goals while keeping quality as a top priority. You’ll receive thorough training in our production process, which requires a focus on accuracy and detail. If you are a hardworking team player, then we need you on our Production team!
Production Material Handler

Our Production Material Handler is instrumental in delivering quality service to our customers. Expect thorough training on our processes such as replenishing production primary locations, and maintaining and organizing stock locations, which require a focus on accuracy and detail.

Service Office & Store Assistant
Our Service Office & Store Assistant is a direct contributor to increasing our local customer experiences by helping them enjoy their ponds and water features to the fullest. This position will assist customers with technical product questions, sales, and order-taking via face-to-face, phone and email interactions while building long-term relationships.
Shipping/Warehouse
Our Shipping/warehouse employees complete the daily picking, packing, and shipping of our customer orders while delivering quality service to our customers. You will receive thorough training in our shipping process, which requires exceptional accuracy and detail. Our new facility offers spacious aisles, organized warehouse and a tight-knit feeling working alongside a team of 30 coworkers.

The Accounting team measures the success of the company and provides analysis as to how we arrived at our profit and loss and ways to continually improve. The team’s functions include overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. Customer Service provides the front line in our mission to be a group of passionate, knowledgeable pond professionals helping the world enjoy ponds.
Our Customer Service team engages with customers by providing e-mail, phone, and chat support. They are the Subject Matter Experts on our extensive product line, diving deep to understand the customer's underlying pond issues. Team members act as pond coaches, proactively helping customers troubleshoot technical equipment problems and find solutions to every unique pond problem.

Facilities / Maintenance
The Pond Guy has multiple facilities in Armada and Romeo, Michigan, where our products are designed, developed, tested, produced, packaged, and shipped. Our Facilities and Maintenance team ensures our Tribe has a safe, clean, and fully functional work environment. The team tackles large-scale facility upgrades as well as routine preventive maintenance.

Local Service
Our southeast Michigan Pond & Lake Service Department provides aquatic services for over 500 waterbodies each season from 5,000 sq ft ponds up to lakes 10 acres and larger.
The Pond Guy has licensed Service Technicians familiar with common weeds and equipped with the right pond care tools such as spray boats and specialized cutters. The team also helps to install, remove, store and maintain our local customers’ pond equipment such as aeration systems and fountains.

The Marketing & Creative team develops and implements strategies to promote brand awareness and drive sales of The Pond Guy’s products or services. The team is responsible for managing various marketing campaigns and initiatives, with a focus on eCommerce, Digital, Creative, and Marketplace growth.

Outside Sales/Airmax, Inc.
In addition to providing pond, lake, and water garden solutions directly to our customers, our Outside Sales team serves and builds professional relationships with industry dealers, distributors, professional pond and lake managers, specialty retailers, and other wholesale partners. The Outside Sales/Airmax team serves industry customers in all 50 states and 10 countries.

Product Development
Our Product Development department includes Engineering, R&D, Quality, and our Repair Center. Our Engineers and R&D pros utilize state-of-the-art tools and technical principles to develop innovative products and find solutions to the industry’s most difficult design challenges.
The Quality team brings standardization into the production process, ensuring quality and consistency. Our Repair Center team handles repairs and warranty items for aerations systems and decorative fountains, all while gaining insight on ways to improve.

Shipping/Distribution Center
As part of Operations, our Shipping team works hard to provide affordable, accurate, and fast shipping to our customers in all 50 states and 10 countries. From our Distribution Center, we store, pick, pack, and ship products to fulfill customers’ orders. Shipping takes care every step of the way, ensuring that orders arrive on time and are accurately and safely packaged.

Paid Time Off (PTO) after 90 days. Immediate eligibility for eight (8) company-paid holidays. We care about our employees’ needs and ensure there are opportunities for open communication.
