Water Feature Maintenance Tools

Regular maintenance is the best way to keep your backyard pond clean. Keeping up with doses of beneficial bacteria, checking your pump's impeller for debris, and changing your UV bulb on a regular basis are only part of the upkeep. Removing debris floating in the water, such as leaves and uneaten fish food, is another important element in the maintenance of your pond. Here are some useful tools:

3-In-1 Interchangeable Pond Tool

This tool is more than just a net. The Pond Guy 3-In-1 Interchangeable Pond Tool features three interchangeable gadgets to help with every aspect of small pond maintenance. The skimmer net is made with 1/16" fine mesh and is 15" in diameter. It is perfect for removing floating debris. The second part is a 16"L x 16"W x 18"D deep fish net with 1/4" mesh. If you need to catch a fish for any reason or gather some debris that has sunk to the bottom the fish net is the way to go. The last tool in the set is the 5" long algae brush. It will make cleaning waterfalls and rocks around the pond a breeze. All the tools attach to a sturdy aluminum handle that can reach out as far as 5 feet.

Collapsible Skimmer & Fish Nets

If you always end up with debris in the hard to reach corners of your pond, then The Pond Guy Collapsible Skimmer & Fish Nets are for you. The two angled edges on these triangular shaped nets make it more versatile than a typical square shaped net. Both the fish and skimmer nets are 16"x13" with the fish net having a depth of 11" and the skimmer net have a fine 1/16" mesh netting. The handles are extendable from 54" to 89" and the nets themselves are collapsible for easy storage. The skimmer and fish nets also come on their own handle so you will not have to take the time to switch attachments between jobs.

Heavy Duty Pond Net Combo

For ponds that are a bit bigger, The Pond Guy Heavy Duty Pond Net Combo has a reach of over 9'. The handle is strong enough to hold your debris even extended to the max. This combo has both a sludge net and fish net. The skimmer net has a 3mm fine mesh and is 8" deep while the fish net's mesh is 7mm and goes to 14" deep. The quick-change design makes switching between nets a piece of cake.

PondSkim

Primarily a tool for larger ponds and lakes, The Pond Guy PondSkim will make quick work out of any clean up job in a larger water garden too. Simply pull the PondSkim through the water and clear 5' at a time. The 1/4" mesh netting hangs 18" from the float to catch suspended debris. When you pull it up out of the water it will form a scoop so no debris falls back into the water.

Scissors & Pliers

Trim and remove plants with ease. Use Pond Scissors & Pliers to make plant maintenance quick and easy. Simply trim plants, like dead water lily leaves, with the scissors and then grab the pliers to pick up the waste.
